Organise a Livelihoods Community Consultation

The Livelihoods baseline reveals the connection between community needs and the restoration of the Project area.

Read the Community Consultation Guidelines (see: Livelihoods Community Consultation) to prepare the meeting. Ensure to understand the meeting objectives and prepare the pre-meeting elements.

Follow the Livelihoods Matrix Guidelines to inform the 'Baseline' tab of the Livelihoods Matrix and fill in together with the participants, the objectives and interventions in the 'Intervention' tab. This information will inform the Social Additionality Plan.

During this meeting, it is recommended to go over the Restoration Plan together with the participants another time, this will help you identify actions that may concern both Restoration and Social Additionality. If IPLCs are concerned, remember to apply the FPIC process.

This consultation can take the form of a single meeting, or of a series of meetings, ensure to adapt to the local circumstances to accommodate the needs of the Project and its Stakeholders.
